During the holiday season in 2017, Alvin Ailey honored Ella Fitzgerald’s centennial celebration with its own dance interpretation of her extemporaneous crooning. Alvin Ailey allowed us to preview the performance, featuring dancers Samantha Figgins and Chalvar Monteiro.
