Journalist William Brennan had been working on his draft of New York‘s now-viral “Worst Roommate Ever” story for nearly 6 months when I was first assigned to make a companion video for it. I was given about 2 weeks to turn it around. After lots of calls with William, who was so helpful and giving with notes and details, I went on to produce this 12-minute mini-doc. The rights to both the story and video were eventually acquired by Blumhouse.
